The Legal Consulting Unit, affiliated with the Human Rights Division at the University of Karbala Presidency, held a preparatory meeting to discuss and prepare the necessary procedures for holding a specialized seven-day training course.
The course aims to raise legal awareness and promote legal and development concepts among academic and administrative staff. It will directly target liaison members in the human rights divisions and units at the university’s colleges, as well as the Gender Justice Unit.
The course is expected to include a series of lectures and workshops covering human rights principles, sustainable development goals, the role of academic institutions in supporting social justice issues, and mechanisms for implementing human rights programs within the university environment.
